Author Guidelines-IJAIGP

Submission Requirements

IJAIGP invites original, unpublished manuscripts from scholars and practitioners globally. All submissions must be made through the journal's official online submission portal. Authors are required to confirm that the work is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not concurrently under review at any other journal.

Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.docx). Complete submissions should include the manuscript body, structured abstract, keywords, declarations, and all supporting materials.

Manuscript Formatting

All manuscripts submitted to IJAIGP must conform to the following formatting standards:

Language: English (British or American, consistently applied)

Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, double-spaced throughout

Page size: A4 with 1-inch margins

Word limits: Research articles 5,000–9,000 words; review articles up to 12,000 words; policy commentaries and legal analyses 3,000–6,000 words; case studies 3,000–6,000 words

Abstract: Structured, 200–300 words (Background, Objectives, Methods/Approach, Findings, Implications)

Keywords: 6–10 terms covering themes, governance domains, and relevant AI technologies

References: APA 7th Edition or Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition) — authors must select one and apply it consistently

Footnotes: Permitted for clarificatory comments; not to be used as primary reference mechanism

Tables and figures: Numbered, captioned, and embedded in the manuscript at point of first reference

Authorship Standards

IJAIGP adheres to the ICMJE definition of authorship. All named authors must have made substantial intellectual contributions to the work, participated in drafting or critical revision, approved the final version, and agreed to be accountable for all aspects of the work. Honorific, guest, or ghost authorship is strictly prohibited.

The corresponding author is responsible for all communications with the editorial team, including submission, revision, and post-publication matters. Requests to change authorship after submission must be made in writing and signed by all authors.

Required Declarations

Every submission must include clearly stated declarations covering:

Conflict of interest disclosure for all authors

Funding sources and grant reference numbers

Ethics committee approval (where applicable, particularly for empirical studies)

Informed consent statement (for studies involving human participants)

         Data availability statement

AI tool use disclosure (required where generative AI was used in drafting any portion of the manuscript)

Revision Policy

Authors invited to revise manuscripts must submit their revision within 30 days (minor revision) or 60 days (major revision). Revised manuscripts must be accompanied by a detailed, point-by-point response to each reviewer and editor comment. Failure to submit within the designated timeframe may result in the manuscript being treated as a new submission.
